Shuusuke smiles when he is with his family, and Yumiko is not sure whether it means they live up to his expectation, or whether he knows they are smart enough not to be fooled by simple muscle contractions.

When Yuuta smiles, you want to smile along with him, because a happy Yuuta is an even more appealing Yuuta. This, of course, is something only their mother can say out loud - anyone else would have made the smile disappear faster than you can say 'aniki.'

Shuusuke and Yuuta only see their sister smile when there is a family member around, or when she is donning her professional self. Yuuta says it is because Yumiko is almost ridiculously at ease with herself, her brothers and her job. Shuusuke says nothing; he is thinking instead if the question merits a small frown and a closer look.
