"How about a big, round, final no?"

"Ah. Well, then I should say my heart is breaking, if I believed in broken hearts."

Rinko snorted. "Go pull your stunt on one of your babes." She picked up her tennis bag and slung the strap around her shoulder.

"Sure you don't want to reconsider?"

"A piece of advice. Next time you think of doing something like this, take the girl to a nice restaurant and treat her to a fancy dinner before you ask her to marry you. Who knows, she might actually say yes."
