Seen via roseschaosdeath: Thirty days of worldbuilding.

I wrote 29,730 words during 2008, not counting the drabbles and ficlets written in comments. With NaNo, that's almost 80k words. Will have to do better this year.

For getyourwordsout, I'll have to write about 550 words a day. Doesn't sound so taxing. To those who are also doing this, good luck to us!

I did it. 50, 436 words, according to the NaNo validator. The last 10,000 words I wrote during this weekend. Thank you so much to those who wished me luck.

I lost a kilo or two during the entire process. They should've done this more often.

Now I shall put the document under lock and key until late December or January. It's that crappy. (This is not modesty, false or otherwise. I'm SRS.)

Will write to jeffcobain and festivewind soonish.

2. Back in June 2006, festivewind texted me sometime around 5 a.m. For some reason, she'd just had a dream that someone did an illustration for Elegy of the Willow Sword. She didn't know who it was, only that the illustration was great.

I may have read too much into things - not to mention over-hopeful - but the illustration at the cover of The Conundrum #4 looks like something out of Elegy. If it's not, please correct me.

saintsesa, the Saint Seiya holiday fic exchange community. Sounds interesting, but NaNo is currently stunting my creative efforts in any other direction.

Thank you to everyone who has voted for my entry at multific. The end result (look under "Eve") is both exciting and a little intimidating, but I'll try to turn that bunny into a fic. A minimum of 10,000 words, right? Please wish me luck, or hold a gun to my head until I finish writing (same difference).
